Convert WOFF2 to TTF
Unpacks WOFF2 web fonts into an installable TTF (or OTF, depending on the outlines) – in your browser.
Runs in your browser – your file is never uploaded
Frequently asked questions
Is my file uploaded?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser. The file never leaves your device – there is no server that could see it. Once the page has loaded, the tool even works offline.
What changes inside the font?
Nothing. TTF is only a container: every table – outlines, hinting, kerning, OpenType features, names – is copied byte for byte and merely compressed or decompressed. No outline is redrawn and no feature is dropped.
Will I get a TTF or an OTF?
That depends on what is inside the WOFF2 file. Web fonts wrap either TrueType outlines (you get a .ttf) or CFF outlines (you get an .otf). We name the file by what it really contains – an .otf merely renamed to .ttf would not install on Windows.
Can I install the result on my computer?
Yes – double-click the TTF/OTF or drop it into your fonts folder. Check that the font's licence allows desktop use first; many web-font licences cover websites only.
Does converting change the licence?
No. The font remains the same work under the same licence, including the licence text stored in its name table. Whether you may use it on the web or on a desktop is decided by that licence, not by the file format.
