Remove metadata from image
Strips EXIF, GPS position, XMP and IPTC from photos; the colour profile stays so colours do not shift.

Frequently asked questions
Is my file uploaded?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser. The file never leaves your device – there is no server that could see it. Once the page has loaded, the tool even works offline.
What exactly is removed, and what stays?
Removed: EXIF (camera, lens, date, settings), GPS coordinates, XMP and IPTC blocks (keywords, editing history, author). Kept: the pixels and the embedded ICC colour profile, so colours look the same as before. The orientation flag is applied to the pixels before it is dropped.
Does the image quality change?
PNG and other lossless formats stay identical pixel by pixel. JPG has to be re-encoded, which we do at quality 92 by default – practically indistinguishable, and the file usually ends up a little smaller.
Can I process several images at once?
Yes. Drop as many files as you like; they are processed one after another with the same settings and you can download everything as a ZIP. Each file is handled separately, so one broken file does not stop the rest.
