Frequently asked questions
Is my file uploaded?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser. The file never leaves your device – there is no server that could see it. Once the page has loaded, the tool even works offline.
In which order are the files joined?
In the order shown in the file list – the order you added them. Add the files one after another in the sequence you want, or remove and re-add one to move it to the end.
Can the files have different page sizes?
Yes. Every page keeps its own size and orientation – an A4 portrait page followed by a landscape one is fine. Nothing is scaled.
Does the PDF lose quality?
No. Pages are copied as they are: text stays text, vector graphics stay vectors and images keep their resolution. Nothing is re-rendered or recompressed.
Are bookmarks, links and form fields kept?
Links and annotations that belong to a page are copied with it. Bookmarks (the outline) and the form structure are document-wide and are not carried over – a limitation of copying pages into a fresh file.
What about password-protected PDFs?
They are not supported yet. Open the file in a PDF viewer, enter the password, save a copy without protection and use that copy here.
