Remove PDF password

Yes. This is one of the few tools that need our server, because the program behind it cannot run in a browser. The file travels encrypted, is processed in an isolated container without network access, and is deleted immediately after your download – at the latest after an hour. It is never stored, read or passed on.

No, and that is deliberate. The tool needs the correct password; it does not try to guess or break one. Use it for your own files whose password you know but no longer want to type every time.

No. Only the encryption layer is removed; pages, text, images and metadata stay byte for byte as they were.

Your job joins a queue and runs on a real machine. The page shows which step it is on – upload, queue, processing, download – and you can cancel at any time. Nothing runs in the background after you leave.

Files up to 50 MB. Larger files are refused before anything is uploaded, so you do not waste time on a job that could not finish.
