Yes. This is one of the few tools that need our server, because the program behind it cannot run in a browser. The file travels encrypted, is processed in an isolated container without network access, and is deleted immediately after your download – at the latest after an hour. It is never stored, read or passed on.

Up to about 1.5 megapixels (roughly 1500 × 1000). That is not a licensing limit but an honest one: our server has no graphics card, and a bigger picture would take longer than the job may run. Shrink very large images first – enlarging them again rarely helps anyway.

It reconstructs plausible detail – that is what makes the result look sharp rather than blurry. On text, faces and fine patterns look closely before using the result where accuracy matters. It is an enhancement, not evidence.

Your job joins a queue and runs on a real machine. The page shows which step it is on – upload, queue, processing, download – and you can cancel at any time. Nothing runs in the background after you leave.

Files up to 50 MB. Larger files are refused before anything is uploaded, so you do not waste time on a job that could not finish.
