Extract audio from video

Yes. This is one of the few tools that need our server, because the program behind it cannot run in a browser. The file travels encrypted, is processed in an isolated container without network access, and is deleted immediately after your download – at the latest after an hour. It is never stored, read or passed on.

MP3 plays everywhere and is small. M4A (AAC) sounds slightly better at the same size and is what Apple devices prefer. WAV is uncompressed – perfect quality, but roughly ten times the size, sensible only for further editing.

Your job joins a queue and runs on a real machine. The page shows which step it is on – upload, queue, processing, download – and you can cancel at any time. Nothing runs in the background after you leave.
